How to get a job in the Animation industry

To all those artists who are looking, or about to start looking: . . . . . -I HAVE NO IDEA.

By that I don't mean I am unaware of Networking with the right people, or applying to anything and everything. Each path is different and this industry is infuriatingly indirect.

Not what you were expecting? Well school me if you think you know something I don't, but I've probably heard it. On the bright side I didn't write a book this time.
